Job Description:
Provide analytical chemistry support for product development and service engineers to support their media and hardware labs as well as other facilities analytical chemistry needs. In this role, one would utilize lab instruments to analyze raw materials and finished products for identification, classification, and defect analysis
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform chemical analysis utilizing analytical instruments
Properly document and share results with the team
Maintain and troubleshoot instruments as needed
Create new and validate existing methods as necessary
Comply with all regulations (FDA, EHS, etc) in a GMP lab environment
Analytical equipment used (dependent upon the specific position)- chromatography (HPLC, GC, GC/FID, GC/MS), FTIR, UV Vis, ICP, etcl
Qualifications:
+ BS or BA in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Materials Science
+ 1+ years of Analytical Chemistry experience (academic or industry)
+ Method development and validation experience is a plus!
