Costco Free Sample Representative at CDS (Club Demonstration Services) summary:

As a Costco Free Sample Representative, you engage customers by providing live product sampling events in retail environments to drive sales and enhance brand visibility. This role involves preparing, cooking, and cleaning work areas while delivering excellent customer service with a friendly and outgoing attitude. The position requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working independently or as part of a team with a focus on safety.

In this position, you'll drive sales by engaging customers and bringing brands to life by providing live events and sampling to consumers where they live and shop.

Now, about you: 

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Are 18 years or older
• Available to work 2-3 shifts per week, including weekends
• Can lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for up to 6 hours 
• Perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
• Are comfortable preparing, cooking, and cleaning work area and equipment 
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills 
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
