We are seeking a Data Entry Clerk for a remote position at Rusk Independent School District (ISD), our duties and responsibilities include the following:
*Data Input: Accurately enter and update student and staff information into the district’s database and management systems.
*Record Maintenance: Ensure that all records are kept up-to-date and organized, including student enrollment, attendance, and academic performance data.
*Data Verification: Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness, making corrections as necessary.
*Reporting: Generate reports as required by school administration, including attendance reports, enrollment statistics, and other relevant data.
*Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information following district policies and regulations.
*Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as administration and finance, to ensure data integrity and support various initiatives.
*Technical Support: Assist staff with data-related inquiries and provide support for data management software and tools.
*Training: Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new data entry procedures and software updates.
*Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding data management and reporting.
*Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors to support the overall goals of the district.

Participate in staff development activities to improve job-related skills.
Comply with state, district, and school regulations and policies for teachers.
Attend and participate in faculty meetings and serve on staff committees as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset.
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar role is an added advantage
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and data management software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
