Front End Web Developer - Sports Warehouse - San Luis Obispo, CA Full Time Position This position requires physically reporting to work in San Luis Obispo, CA. Remote work is not an option for this role at this time. Benefits & Perks Medical, dental and vision benefits Paid vacation time Life insurance Merchandise discounts with all Sports Warehouse companies Access to on-site fitness facility Paid sick time 401(k) and profit‑sharing programs Opportunities for growth Employee appreciation events Purpose Of Position Front-End Website Development/Maintenance Duties And Responsibilities Assemble and update web pages across multiple e-commerce websites Use proprietary scripting language built into the point-of-sale system to render website HTML Write and maintain PHP pages to integrate third‑party services using data from the point-of-sale system Assist other departments within Sports Warehouse with publishing logic and content to the e-commerce sites Maintain components of the e‑commerce websites to stay up to date with current company needs as well as ADA, SEO and other relevant standards Consistently review work for accuracy and functionality prior to publishing Focus, maintain attention to detail, and balance multiple duties in a dynamic environment Work independently, stay self‑motivated, and appropriately prioritize tasks Function as part of a team, having a positive attitude and strong work ethic Demonstrate a sense of pride in work while representing Sports Warehouse in a positive manner. Requirements HTML, CSS and JS Experience Must be comfortable with Mac OS Strong written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn our proprietary scripting language Knowledge of cross‑browser compatibility issues Excellent problem‑solving skills Takes direction well and able to learn in a fast‑paced environment Experience With The Following Is a Plus React Bootstrap jQuery PHP REST APIs MySQL MariaDB Git/Github Microsoft Teams Asana Physical Demands Regularly required to handle objects, type on a computer, and use computer software. The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Frequently required to sit in a stationary position or stand for prolonged periods of time, in addition to occasionally moving about inside the building. Must regularly lift and/or move objects that weigh less than ten pounds, occasionally lift and/or move items that weigh between 10–20 pounds and rarely lift and/or move items that weigh between 20–50 pounds.
