**JOB DESCRIPTION/POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES** **:**
Independently perform installation, maintenance, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, repair, adjustment, test, operation, cable splicing, verification, etc., of power distribution equipment such as overhead power lines/cables, underground cables, switchgear, transformers, splices, potheads, etc.
**REQUIRED SKILLS/SPECIAL TRAINING/CERTIFICATIONS** **:**
CDL Driver License, Cable Splicer Cert.
**EDUCATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE** **:**
**High School Diploma or equivalent and**
+ A recognized apprenticeship training program plus 2 years of experience OR
+ Military or Civilian vocational training plus 2 years experience OR
+ 5 Years of direct work related skills, knowledge , and experience - Journeyman's License preferred
